Uncommon Documentary

by | General

You may remember Kristina Bauer as the author of Essential Oils and the Detox Theory, published last year on the Tisserand Institute website, or you may know her as the Untamed Alchemist, an aromatherapy blogger and author. What you may not know is that the last year, she partnered with Angela Jensen Ehmke, an aromatherapist and professional film maker, and the two are making a movie!

Kristina is a clinical aromatherapist, herbalist, writer, educator, and licensed massage therapist with over 25 years experience in the art and science of aromatherapy, herbalism, and natural living. Angela has over 15 years experience in film, television and radio.  She spent almost a decade in New York City working as an assistant director on feature films and network television and she is also an aromatherapist and educator. You can read more about their background here.

Kristina and Angie realized that there was no feature length documentary on aromatherapy – no-one has ever made one. So, with their shared passion for both aromatherapy and film, they decided to meet that need. They are creating a film that will give space to the movers and shakers of the industry in order to explore aromatherapy in all its facets.

Since the film is mainly focused on the aromatherapy community, they decided to appeal to that very crowd for financing their project. They are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise $60,000 initially. You can be a part of this amazing journey and make contribution big all small that will result in benefit for all.
