Caron Della Flora: “I just felt like going to Tisserand just opened up so many possibilities for me that I didn’t even know existed.”

The Tisserand Institute is not just its tutors and core team, but also an incredible body of passionate students who come from all over the world. We want to give them the floor to share their stories and their experience with us.

Caron Della Flora is one of those passionate people. She first discovered essential oils through her mom, and then encountered them again within he retail job. As well as being omnipresent in her household, she wanted to incorporate them in her DIY skincare formulas in a safe and effective manner. And she wanted to learn more about them, which led her to the Tisserand Institute. “I love feeling like I’m going to the place where everybody else is looking. I don’t think I’ve read a single aromatherapy article that doesn’t refer back to Robert’s book.” Two years later she has taken all of our classes and took part in our inaugural Diploma in AromaDermatology.

“Having the knowledge is so amazing. And even if I don’t know the answer to something, knowing where to look now, I did not have that before. I just felt like going to Tisserand just opened up so many possibilities for me that I didn’t even know existed.” Right now Caron focuses on her children, running an aromatherapy household and homeschooling. She plans to turn her passion for DIY skincare into a business. We love having Caron in classes, and look forward to seeing her future!
