Essential Oils and the Skin

Learn the importance of precise dilution; to what extent essential oils are dermally absorbed; how to use them to address skin problems such as acne, fungal infections,
psoriasis, rosacea and sun damage, and how to make up simple preparations with safe yet effective ingredients!

The Skin Series consists of nine webinars, and evolved from six live webinars, which aired in 2012. These have since been considerably developed to include more material and a more detailed set of Notes. The Skin Series encompasses most of what is known about essential oils in relation to dermal effects, and it is all evidence-based. Most of the evidence consists of research articles, and some is based on photographs and/or case information from practitioners. In the whole series, there are over 200 citations. No previous knowledge is required.

Each Skin Series webinar consists of:

  • A 45 minute video consisting of slides and voice-over by Robert Tisserand.
  • A pdf file of Notes containing selected slides, attributions, and citations with links.

Why The Skin Series is unique:

  • Full explanations of which oils to use, how much, and why.
  • Before-and-after pictures of healing action.
  • ‘Translation’ of clinical evidence and other research.
  • Almost 7 hours of webinar material, plus notes for each webinar.
  • Over 200 clickable links to scientific research.

What you will take from The Skin Series:

  • How to identify the most appropriate essential oils to use in addressing common skin complaints.
  • How to calculate safe and effective concentrations of these oils.
  • How to decide on the most appropriate product base to use.
  • A scientific explanation for why each oil does what it does.

You should register for The Skin Series if:

  • You want to know which are the most proven effective oils for treating specific skin complaints.
  • You are confused by conflicting information about how to safely use essential oils on the skin.
  • You want access to the science behind the cosmeceutical actions of essential oils.
  • You already know something about essential oils, and you want to know more.

Testimonials

The Skin Series includes material Robert uses in a weekend workshop entitled Essential Oils in Skincare. The following are testimonials from these events:

“I thoroughly enjoyed Robert’s class. He taught me more about essential oils than I would have learned on my own in years.”

The breadth of Robert’s knowledge in the field of essential oils is remarkable. He is a gift to those of us working with these gems of nature. But for me, even more importantly, he is an outstanding teacher; having knowledge is one thing, but being able to clearly and articulately impart it is another. He has both, and this indeed is what contributes to genius. Maren Good

For me, Robert Tisserand is the final word on essential oils, as well as the myth buster and the advocate. He’s also the most gentle and kind presenter I have come across.
Sherrin Bernstein

I am always so grateful to study with Robert. The general information and even the slightest little details he shares are so valuable and often open up a whole new world.
Nancy Graves

Robert has a wealth of knowledge about essential oils that is unsurpassed. A seminar with him is like a whole course condensed into a weekend.
Sarah Bearden

Testimonials from attendees of the live webinars:

Excellent seminar, very easy to follow. I could’ve easily listened for another hour or more at that pace. You presented very clearly in a well-organized and entertaining manner. Janina

I really enjoyed your online presentation and the handout info too… great job! The online option gets easier as you go along:) Kelly

I really enjoyed it-both the content as well as the style of presentation. It was great having the tech support there, nice to get messages back from him in the moment. I liked the question time between each section. Andrea

I learned a lot from the webinar because your explanations were very clear and understandable and would recommend them to anyone. You were giving information in such a way that all levels of aromatherapists and students would find helpful. Debbie

The nicest part of the seminar, for me personally, was that it was all usable information. Everything that you presented I can not only use for myself, but also share with others in a way that they can more easily understand and appreciate. Suzy
